[gardeners] Late season tomatoes

I had a great tomato harvest this season until we got the 3 weeks of
100 degree temps in August. That pretty much did in the maters.
Since we've had more reasonable (to me) temps, the plants have
recovered but there's something odd going on. I can't get one of
these puppies to ripen on the vine without fermenting. Not one of
any variety. Nope, I'm not talking blossom end rot I'm talking
fermenting from the inside out.

Even the cherry tomatoes have this problem. I could get drunk by
eating the Sungolds and Red Peachs. Any ideas?

Liz

PS Good luck with those wascally docs, George.
