Yes, our cats are strickly inside cats - althoguth would hope to "train" (a
CAT?) them to stay in the back yard. We have some cicadas around but not
near what other people have. People are covering their young trees with
cheese cloth - looks really funny. But hopefully will protect them from
breaking off the young twigs when they lay their eggs in them.
Ray has picked a LOT of cherries - not I have to do something with them.
So far we have just been eating them fresh, but you can only eat so
many..... Guess I will have to find my cherry pitter - might be easier to
buy a new one! Anyone ever had that problem?
Like Geroge and Pat, we could use some rain but it hasn't been THAT dry
here - just starting to get that way. Should be an interesting summer
weather wise. Luckly we will be here all summer - no trips planned until
late Sept.
Been busy with weddings, people. Had five this week end, three next week
end. and so the summer goes. Been also working at the Garden center
mornings, mainly watering plants. They have trouble finding someine who
will water WELL - the kids all want to just mist over everything. Big
bonus of working there - the manager lets me buy my plants WHOLESALE.
yikes! too bad we have run out of room to plant very much.
