Kefir is the Russian word for yogurt, Leben is yogurt in Hebrew and in some
Arabic dialects. The middle eastern delis around where I live carry them.
I prefer the Israeli leben to the Russian kefir. Kefir is 'runnier', Leben
is thicker consistency and a bit more sour.
