Hi everyone, I have a few questions about some peppers I found at the local Kroger two days ago. Their were three types displayed but only the jalapeno peppers were marked. I bought a handfull of all three peppers and immedeately went home to give them a try. The jalapeno peppers were very fresh and very hot compared to the usuall I find in this area. The second pepper which I tried was a shorter thicker pepper shaped like the jalapenos but MUCH hotter :). These red peppers truly cleared my sinuses and actually caught me by surprise. The third bunch of peppers I bought were light orange and suspiciously looked like habenero peppers. I wasn't dissapointed they were VERY hot and had that after taste of a strong Habenero salsa. I thought these peppers were allready out of season. Is this true? Maby I just got lucky and caught some out of season crop. By the way I left a habenero on a fellow chili-heads desk at work and he dropped by at lunch with an odd look on his face(I believe it was one of pain:) ) These babys are HOT:)) Thanks for listening to my ramblings :)) Sincerely, David Amyx
