Well, that comment brought up a memory.... A couple of years ago I had an employee who liked to talk big. When we talked about hot foods he would boast that "there is nothing hot enough for me!". Well, it happened that we had a bottle of Endorphin Rush in the fridge at work and so we all went over there. Since we knew this guy was a lot of talk, we cautioned him about it. He still took about a quarter a teaspoon (raw). Within a few minutes he was curdled on the floor crying his guts out. It got real serious so we called 911. In our area, when the ambulance shows up, so does a deputy sheriff. This time, the deputy came over 10 minutes after the ambulance crew. When he came, he started asking questions and I told him about the little experiment. He wanted to see the bottle so I got it for him. As he examined it (and after he decided that it was a legal substance), I asked him if he carried pepper spray. He said "yes" and produced the can. I asked him if he ever tasted it? He looked at me kind of funny and said that he did not. I asked him if I could? At that, he turned tail and ran off. Oh, by the way, the guy who was being treated was fine. He needed to go home that day and drink some milk. After that though, he would NEVER take me up on any suggestions of trying something "a bit spicy".... :-) ==================================================== -- Naor Wallach Director of Software and Current Engineering Real Time Enterprises, Inc. 716-383-1290 16 Tobey Village Office Park Naor_Wallach@rte.com Pittsford, NY 14534 www.rte.com ==================================================== -----Original Message----- From: Steve Taylor <stevet@terabyte.co.nz> To: chile-heads@globalgarden.com <chile-heads@globalgarden.com> Date: Monday, January 19, 1998 9:17 PM Subject: Re:[CH] Protecting yourself with Chilli sprays >>I think I would lean towards the foam myself simply for the fact that the >>foam would be more inclined stay on pretzels ;-) > >An excellent idea.
