Hi Calvin, Our hats are off to you! I always use a combination of peppers so that the heat is varied. Not only have you varied the heat, you have mastered it! I put 1 tablespoon of the powder in a batch of Bisquick biscuits. (Not too original, but I was desperate to taste Calvin's powder. Thanks for the idea Calvin.) These biscuits had to be eaten slowly because just as I was ready to take the next bite, the peppers started to build and ever so smoothly get hotter and hotter and hot....climbing until euphoria hits. Delicious! My husband took a few biscuits to work (at a construction site). He wrapped them in foil with a dab of butter in each one and set it on the boiler at the job site. By breaktime they were warm. Most of the guys had one or two. They all thought they were outstanding. About 2 hours after break one of the guys wanted another biscuit, cuz he had just "come down" off the two he had earlier. You need to come up with a name for the powder though. We've all been calling it "Calvin's Powder". I think it needs to be something like Calvin's Rolling Thunder, Hot Rockin and Kickin' Powder or The Powder. a la The Bread. You must have a name in mind Calvin...let us know...I want to be sure to recognize it when you mass market it! Thanks for the fun and good eats! Linda in Ct.
