Right you are! I used to have a cat who was a CH. It started one day when I had some jalapeno flavored corn chips. He kept yelling till I let him lick my fingers. Thereafter he put on the same performance whenever I got out the hot chips. It was the only thing he ate outside of his regular feeding. He also got alfalfa sprouts mixed in with his canned food for the reasons you mention below. He would not eat his food if I forgot to put them in.
