I looked at the Bueno home page as well as the order form and Bueno *is* El Encanto, the company name on the Chimayo powder. That's a good price. I believe I paid between $2.50 - 3.00 in a supermarket in NM for a 6 oz. pkg. I think they also had it at Wal Mart, where I got a bag of Bueno mild chile powder really cheap. If you ever get to a Sam's Club in NM, they had big, maybe quart size, containers of frozen chopped green chiles for a great price, like $4.00. I said to my husband, "Do you know how long it took me to make that much chopped green chile????" By then the freezer was about full of tomatoes and chiles, mostly, so I didn't buy any. We were in the motor home so I did bring back a bag of frozen posole. When I was in Santa Fe a few yrs. ago I was amazed at all the tourists buying tiny bags of chile powder at specialty shops for high prices when all they had to do was go to any supermarket or Wal Mart and get a big bag for less than the price of a 2 oz. bag! The Chimayo powder I bought is way beyond mild. If I put over 2 Tbs. in a pot of chili my husband and friends couldn't eat it, and complained about that. I have to use half mild, half Chimayo. I also use it in my tamales, hot sauce, etc. Judy
