Just had a look in David Jones (fancy-schmancy aust. dept. store, prices 3x
anywhere else), and actually found some real chile products. Bought some hab
flakes (are they supposed to taste smoked?), saw some other stuff at
eye-watering prices that I was kinda hoping for some opinions on before I
fork out my $8.50...

Also, somebody recommended Srirachi sauce; is this a style or a brand? I can
get <some brand> sauce in my local Thai supermarket, that says Srirachi on
the label, but you have to buy it by the litre...

One other thing, can anyone recommend a good basic no-tomato suace base for
whatever chiles I might have on hand? (at the mo, Thai green) Mine always
turn into chutneys by the time I've finished...
