<< I don't know if there is any connection between reading SF and being a spicy food lover, but I grew up eating hot, hot foods, and I started reading SF in the early 50s. >> >There must be a connection. Chiles and SF are my biggest passions! >peg e. No connection here! I don't like SF. I read mysteries and thrillers mostly. Working on Total Control at the moment. I just realized it's time to start my chile seeds. My, how time flies! Does anybody have a few seeds for Giant Jalapeno (saw them in Burpee Cat.) to spare? (only need about 6). I plan to grow mostly NM long greens of several varieties, habs, jals, serrano, poblano and maybe one or two others this yr. along with some tomatoes which never seem to taste very good and always perish from early blight no matter what I do. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The peppers always do well except for the pasillas and mulatos which tend to get black rotten spots before turning brown. Go figure!
