The best hot food I've had in TO so far is the thai food at Bangkok = gardens on Elm street near Younge. The only time to go is at lunch, = where they have an amazing all you can eat buffet for $10. A chile head = must have the made to order soup to start. It is made at the street = noodle bar, and you can specify as much ground hot pepper (I think it's = cayenne) as you like. At the street noodle bar you should also get a = condiment tray that includes chile peppers and hot pepper powder. You = can then add this to any dish to bring it up to your level of heat. = They also have Upper Canada on draft which is the perfect way to cool = off. The food, decor and service are great for $10. I've had difficulty getting a good hot curry in Toronto, noone believes = you when you say that you want it really hot. The Red Devil has a good = selection of sauces and is dedicated to the Chile Head theme, but is = expensive (it's in the theatre district), and not all of its food is = particularly hot. I still haven't made it to the ACME grill on Peter = street near King. It's supposed to be good and cheap, also with a good = selection of hot sauces and beer. Hope this helps.
