I have read about chile spiked beers and have a batch of beer brewing. I wondered if could add some dried peppers or pieces to a couple of bottles when I bottled it to get some extra kick in them. I was thinking of chipotles as these are by far my favorites. Anybody try this with good results? You know if that darn Chile Pepper Mag didn't come just the other day, I wouldn't be considering this. BTW, just found another Mexican restaurant in Allentow with a grocery store attached. I can get almost all my needs there and the owners are very helpful, to the point of giving cooking tips and describing what various products are. Had dinner there last night and got some great enchiladas de mole. The salsa was kinda mild and the picked peppers disappeared from the bowl. No booze license so it is BYOB and you get a free glass of sangria. I'm happy!
