I've just come across a chile from Hungary (via Israel). It's amazing the route chiles take to get to us isnt it! This is a large chile (around 15 cm long). It stars off as a light green before moving on to a cream colour and then becomes red. An old Hungarian gentleman who works with me tells me that they grow prolifically in Hungary and are referred to as "icicles" or "hot icicles" in his native Magyar tongue. Perhaps that is the ice pepper that was referred to? Cheers Grant
