as one among those who got the "resubscribe or die" messages from the bot
(???), I can tell you I have seen no interruption in service yet, nor did I
follow the instructions to resubscribe.

BTW, thanks for posting that you got in touch with Mike Bowers on this, so
that we all didn't deluge him with complaints.  this is a great list-server
system, and the hit of my mornings.  Sure beats the hell out of what the
Chile Pepper Magazine has become.
