I feel a little responsible for some the messages folks have been getting
from Majordomo. I hadn't received the digest for several days and was
wondering if something was wrong. Mike is at UC Davis in Sacramento and all
of we Californians have been laboring under the effects of El
Nnnnnnnn......you know.
I emailed Mike privately to see if all was well. He replied that all
appeared to be well, but I wasn't alone in my dilemna. I finally
unsubscribed and re-subscribed getting the Majordomo authenication note,
still no digest. Then, this morning when I checked my email, all the
missing digests were there. It might have been that, to fix the problem for
a few of us, Mike had to do a bot flush of some sort.
BTW, it has been drop-dead gorgeous here on the Central Coast for the last
week. I'm afraid to do any planting outside, though for El Nnnnnn....you
know is lurking. I did like the idea of starting seed on the ol' cable TV
box. Ours is in a little cabinet and it does get warm in there.
