So I'm in San Francisco yesterday (on assignment in Los Gatos for two weeks, so ran up to the city for the weekend...), and we're taking in Fisherman's Wharf. We stumble into a store called the Gourmet Gallery, and the first thing that hits the eye is a bottle of Blair's After Death sauce, complete with little skull. Further investigation yielded an entire hot sauce section, with probably a total of 75 or 80 different varieties, including some I'd never heard of or seen before (Melinda's Mango), and some I'd only heard of recently, such as the Baron's West Indian sauces. They also have a nice selection of chile-related cookbooks and gardening books. Needless to say, I came out of the shop significantly poorer than I went in...
