Hi all As it seems a bit quiet a few small items:- Did anyone see the clip on the BBC World service this morning on hot chille addiction in China? They showed people in hospital with gastric problems supposedly caused by overindulgence in the craze for "Chille Hot Pot" This is heaps of chilles, which looked like cayenne peppers. Fried in boiling hot oil with various pieces of offal and vegetables. I should think the pepper/oil would not be too good for ones digestion. Habenero Ice cream. Cut some fresh orange habs in half. Scooped out the seeds. Filled with apricot ice cream and put in the freezer overnight. Delicious, but wimp that I am I needed another scoop of ice crean to follow. Drying peppers. Is there an easy way to dry all the fresh peppers that I am picking daily? As the weather cools down I am afraid they will tend to rot if I leave them on the plants to dry.
