Hello, all; If you're a fellow Midwesterner, my condolences. It's Tuesday, March 3, at 6:45 in the morning. It's 13 degrees. The wind chill is 20 below zero. The spring breezes are hitting 50 mph. The waves good 'ol Lake Michigan, 6 miles to the West, are 12 to 15 feet. Snow is piled everywhere and 8" more is predicted. Schools are closed and the authorities are asking everyone to stay off the roads unless it is an emergency - you see, under the snow is a layer of sheet ice, and with the wind the roads are drifted in. So, it's a normal March day at my house. How you doin'? I'm planting some pepper seeds this morning. Indoors. Think spring. Hobby Farmer
