Yesterday I decided to try something different on this first day of spring. Instead of just brewing my usual killer beer, I decided to go for something different. I brewed a porter (a little heavy on the chocolate malt, I hear chile and chocolate go good together though I hgave never tried it) and threw in a couple of (4) dried hab's in the boil. I tasted it after the boil and it was definitely interesting, it wasn't necessarily hot, but it had a definite bite to it. We'll see what happens when its done.
