I've been following the news group for a while now, and wanted to try and tap into some of the groups collective knowledge. I've heard that there are pepper varieties out there that have different types of heat. Some burn in the front of the mouth, some the throat, ect. Some burn immediatly, or have the heat leave rapidly, while some stay around for a while. Has anybody else heard of this? Does anybody know of specific varieties that have these different qualities?
