Hey Rael...man after my own heart...I just threw out a beautiful tortilla hash made with green chili stew which had been in the fridge for 5 days...I would rather be safe than sorry, and all the years that I have been cooking for both my bride and myself and sundry others, I have yet to make anyone ill, specially ME & THE BRIDE of 49 yrs(not her age!!)(she wishes). Sooo, if in doubt, tro it out, has been my motto...we both became VERY ill eating at a famous Toronto Restaurant(nameless) in 1948 after eating their equally famous chicken croquets...Did we ever eat chicken croquets again, you ask??? Not likely, sorta turned us agin em so to speak. So once more with feeling, If In Doubt, Throw It Out, never mind the cost of the food, it is less than the cost of the stomach pump! Yuck!
