This is a favorite family story. When I was about 4, Hector Lucier, a friend of my grandfather took me to the Springfield Zoo, which had lots of animals. Anyway, we were looking at things, and I said, "Look, a woodchuck!" (aka groundhog). "No Chuck, that's a pheasant," "No, it's a woodchuck. Grandpa shot one in the backyard yesterday and he said it was a woodchuck!" "Ahh, I understand," said Hector. Both he and Grandpa were avid hunters.
