Planted my habs and serranos about a week and a half ago( 24 habs and 12 serranos.) They were looking good, nice and green, even perky. Well, night before last, we had a freak hail storm. At 3 o'clock in the morning comes this sound like a hundred of my worst enemies are beating on my bedroom walls with baseball bats. I'm lying there, wondering when the windows are going to shatter, and then I remember, my plants! Inspecting the poor plants the next day, I felt very fortunate. True, they did look pretty beat up, but I think they might make it anyway. All I can say is I'm glad we only got the golfball-size stuff and not the BASEBALL-size stuff that tore the hell out of a nieghborhood about 5 miles away! -- Ron M Blackadder Goes Forth: "I, on the other hand, have a degree from the University of Life, a diploma from the School of Hard Knocks, and three gold stars from the Kindergarten of Getting the Shit Kicked Out of Me." -- Captain Edmund Blackadder,
