[CH] Pyrethin burns?

Could Pyrethin burns be confused with mosaic virus?

I sprayed with a Pyrethin-based insecticide recommended by my gardener, and
now the leaves turn yellow-mosaicish and papery. I was briefly told that
the pyrethin could burn the leaves, especially since the plants had been
growing indoors and were not hardened off. Is this what has happened or may
the plants also be mosaic virus infected (as I suspect and fear)?

Could someone describe the differences and similarities between Pyrethin
burns and mosaic virus, please?
