<snip> >Where have you folks found the best and WORST salsas?? > > Inquiring minds and all that. While not considered salsa by some, the worst guacamole in the universe was made by the hand of my very own sister. It was made out of broccli instead of avacados and was named <yes, you guessed it> brocomole. Lord, it was nasty... On to the best, I like Herdez Salsa Casera about as well as any commercial salsa. I have eaten a lot of salsas in Mexico, and the Herdez style is fairly common and a pretty good representation of that style. The best salsa I have ever eaten was on the beach at Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Habs, lime juice, salt and garlic. Maybe it was just that good because of where it was... the gabacho chile picker and sometimes test animal <<<boz>>>
