Don't get me wrong -- I completely agree and have gotten the same sense of satisfaction and pleasure from my halogen grow lamp (and not from my fluorescent grow lamp setups), but I limit my exposure in that room to only a few minutes per day (preferably beginning immediately upon arising in the morning, when it seems to have the most beneficial effect -- as has been corroborated in a research report I recently read, in fact). Of course, our winters here in San Francisco bay area are nowhere near as dreary as yours are famous to be nor surely nearly as cold either, so it's easier here to limit exposure to brief periods. --- Brent
