This is common on thin walled Chiles. Nothing you can do about it as far as I know. Just cut out the bad spots and use. Most I just put in the round file cabinet. Takes to much time to process them when you have a 20-30 pound pile to do. >>I noticed when I cut into some of my Red Savina pods last year, there was a nasty black moldy-looking growth inside them, even though the fruits were absolutely beautiful and untouched on the outside.
