Many thanks to all of you who responded to my green tomato salsa query. I have yet to do anything (damn! what a lazy bum!!) but you can be certain I will fill you in on the eventual outcome. Meanwhile.... I managed to acquire some peppers last night, the likes of which I have never seen before. They are red, fairly thin-skinned, a bit crinkly, about 1 1/2" in diameter at the widest part, kind of curly, quite pointed, and...nine inches long!!!! (Don't say it!!!) (Well, okay, go ahead. I'd actually like to hear this.) I was told that they were hot, but I just took a bite of one, and I'd give it maybe twenty-three Scoville units at the most. Any clue?
