Peeps,

After reading a few recent posts mentioning Emeril Legassi's show, I
thought I would try to suggest he do a show on firey foods. Today I used
the response form at foodtv.com to make the suggestion, and I got this
automated response:

Hello Alex Silbajoris

Thank you for visiting us at foodtv.com. We can't answer all e-mail
personally, but we want you to know that your comment was received--and
that it will be read. In the meantime, perhaps you will find these answers
to frequently asked questions helpful. Or!
 at least mildly enjoyable.

You can find information about upcoming shows, bios of hosts and recipes
galore on the Food Network Web site: http://www.foodtv.com

Our main studios are in the heart of midtown Manhattan:
Food Network

New York, New York 10036

The phone number is (212) 398-8836

If you'd like to apply for a position at Food Network, send your resume to
address listed above, attention: Human Resources.

Have an idea for a Food Network show? For the most part, we develop our
programming "in house," but we are always looking for great new shows. Of
the dozens of ideas we receive daily, very few pan out. You are more than
welcome to send in a proposal as long!
as you are associated with a television and film production company. If
you have any questions, please call Food Network's Programming Development
Department.

We do entertain suggestions about shows that Food Network may wish to
acquire. However, we can't promise you a personal response via e-mail since
we tend to get a large volume of e-mail in this category.

Last but not least is the schedule. You can get schedule information on our
Web site at:

http://www.foodtv.com/fn/schedule.htm

The schedule sometimes changes for special events or because we're trying
out a new lineup. If a show you love is not on when it used to be, check
the listings--chances are, you'll find it simply has a new time slot.

Thanks again for your comment, for watching and for surfing Food Network.

So who knows, maybe "BAM!" will be replaced by "HAB!" for a day.
