[CH] Taka no Tsume

Got a bag of dried and minced Taka no Tsume ("Falcon's Claw") peppers 
from my Japanese friend. Quite hot, with a tough skin, almost no 
seeds. Seems to be something like bird's eye peppers.

Anyone has more info?

So how can I turn this dry stuff into some condiment? Tried to cover 
it with raspberry vinegar, and mixed in some salt and honey... quite 
nice, but something is missing.
