As I mention before I experiment with plants Here's one for you folks to try, I started some California wonder seeds, as soon as the seed leaf broke soil I transplant 1 into a 2x2x2 pot, I put 1 in a 31/2 by 31/2 pot and 1 in a newspaper pot using a 1 lb coffee can for a form about 4 in dia and 6 in deep. After 4 weeks Plant in 2 in pot was 2in high Plant in 31/2 in pot was 5 in tall Plant in 4 x6 pot was 8 in tall Same feed and water. My personal deductions, peppers need room for root growth The above also has me telling those who buy transplants, get your transplants as soon as they become available, transplant them in larger pots until ready to transplant. Also transplanted 1 habanero into a 1 qt clear food service container with drain holes drilled in the bottom. By the time this plant was 2 inches tall, the roots were almost all the way down the sides. The way I look at exermination, It takes a few extra seeds and pots, put the knowlege you gain is invaluable Byron
