Here's a question, is Dave's truly a hot pepper sauce or is it actually some form of concentrated "stuff" (capaiscin or whatever)? While Mad Dog is probably higher in Scovilles (I've seen the comparison in a catalog), I've always thought that Dave's seemed slightly hotter, and that may be due to their differing ingredients. It's really tough for me to tell, though, since I use both for completely separate dishes and, frankly, neither is particularly hotter than the other to me. I'm still looking for that blow- me-away sauce. Blair's Sudden Death has come the closest so far. >Date: Wed, 16 Dec 1998 09:57:37 -0500 (EST) >From: Scott Kramer <p019233b@pb.seflin.org> >Subject: [CH] Dog vs Dave's > >I read a comparison of scoville units suggesting Mad Dog's Inferno is >hotter than Dave's Insanity.
