Use any bottle that has a neck large enough to accomodate a funnel. In most cities there are "chemist's supply" stores that sell rubber stoppers - just about any size. Some are "variable" sized, that is they are quite long and have "cut-off" marks so you can cut them to the length you want at the level that has the correct circumference. In the stopper drill a 3/16 inch hole (this is a good size for most "tabasco-like" hot sauces) I fasten the stopper in a vice for this operation. to close the hole in the stopper, I cut bamboo chopsticks into 2-inch lengths. sharpen one end in a pencil sharpener, cut off the sharp tip and voila! If you can't find chopsticks, use a 1/4 inch dowel. -steam the pieces before you use them to be sure they are not carrying any unfriendly bacteria. I buy bottles in kitchen supply stores in our "factory outlet" mall, these have cork stoppers which I throw away. (I have leanred from experience that these are not suitable for hot sauces). -- Andie Paysinger & the PENDRAGON Basenjis,Teafer,Cheesy,Singer & Player asenji@earthlink.net So. Calif.
