I'd give it a try if you have some to spare that you wouldn't mind risking. What I'd do is thaw a few out and see if they can be dried out in a dehydrator if you have one. An oven at the lowest setting will work too. If they don't turn into goo you'll be able to smoke them just fine. By the way, I ended up smoking about half of mine for 3 hours over apple wood chips and finishing them off in the dehydrator. I'm in the process of grinding them up right now. I've never had a taste of hab powder before WOW! I'm going to have some fun with this stuff! Also, a big thank you to everyone that responded with tips and suggestions to my original question. I ended up smoking half, drying 1/4 and freezing 1/4. Tim Adair
