Ah, yes, the January non-chile wars break out again... I think it's because it's a little early to plan your chile garden, plus there's too much snow (elsewhere) /cold(somewhere north) /fog(here) to do much outside, so people tend to reply a little hasty... My suggestions: if your message is pertinent to only the person sending, please leave the list out of it. Same goes for one-liners, way off topic (I tend to tolarate food off-topicism), politics, jokes, virus warnings (haven't seen any recently, so it's about time), and such. If it doesn't have to do with chiles, it doesn't belong on the list; that's why I host it, why everyone joined and why most are here. Take a break and read the archives if it's getting to be too much for you :-) Remember, more than 1400 people will see what you write.
