All Chiles have a "rang" of heat. The soil, climate and growing condition
play a major roll in jut how hot Chiles turn out. The "Red Savina" with
the world record at 577,000 (SCU) will not always produce at that level.
When you inter a contest, you always pick the best you have from what you
have. The entry is not usually typical of the whole crop! But they still
have a "range" that is the hottest. Check our "Heat Scale" page for more
