This makes much more sense to me.  In fact, the 'grow box' that I've built
for indoor plants has a white melamine interior to reflect/diffuse the
artificial light.

A question for the more experienced readers out there:  Does it matter if
light does NOT come from a specific, single point?  If light is reflected
from above, below, behind, left, and right, will that have an adverse
effect on the plants?
