If you're into 'in', there's always Zagat's.
Food, Decor and Service are each rated on a scale of 0 to 30
0-9...........poor to fair
10-19...........good to very good
20-25...........very good to excellent
26-30...........extraordinary to perfection
The Cost reflects the estimated price of a dinner with one
drink and tip. Lunch usually costs 25 percent less.
[The Cost may not be up to date and may be 25 percent more.]

Looks like 2 out of the 3 Thai they show might be worth a shot.

Food 25, Decor 19, Service 23, Cost $21
Rabieng
Thai
5892 Leesburg Pike,
Glen Forest Shopping Ctr.,
Falls Church

Edging out its showy cousin Duangrat as the DC Survey's top Thai, this
"understated", "often overlooked" sib focuses on food; here, one can
explore
"regional Thai cooking" in a "quiet setting" where the "sparse decor and

dismissive service don't matter" once the vivid, "spicy" tastes explode
in your
mouth.

Food 22, Decor 18, Service 19, Cost $18
Bua

Altogether "a delightful dining experience" sums up this "in-town" Thai
whose "discreet decor" and "courteous" manners contrast with its
"incendiary"
dishes; when the few "wonderful tables overlooking P Street" are
occupied or
when there's a "wait on a weeknight", consider the "consistently good"
takeout.
