Aphids around here (Louisville) tend to be yellow-orange; I'd never seen
the supposedly standard dark ones till I lived in New York for
awhile, or very many greenish ones till Texas. It depends on their diet,
I gather; the little suckers are born sort of colorless, according
to a nurseryman friend, and take on color as they eat.
