I prefer having the original message included.  

Sometimes when I read the CH email, the original message
is not available.  This happens because sometimes I retrieve
my email at home, and at other times a get it at work.  This
can result in an original message sitting on my PC at home,
and having replies to it on a PC at work.  Anyway, I find that
looking for a previous message in thread is more trouble 
than just ignoring the previous message(s).
