It seems that my posting has grabbed a lot of attention to the fact that Chili Pepper magazine has gone into a downward spiral. I think Joel Gregory <jgregory@flash.net> has a great idea and getting to the point. The publisher should be aware of our discontent with their changes. If more people would actively participate something may happen. The magazine is for us and if there is no more us maybe, just maybe a change would be in order. Don't get me wrong, I understand the need for advertising dollars but it's getting ridiculous. Page after page of adds and poor content will be the demise of the magazine. I agree to on the large articles on major restaurants, maybe the magazine is getting a kick-back for featuring them? I personally don't care to read endless articles of restaurant reviews. What point does it serve? What happened to the seeding, propagation, growing, care & maintenance and harvesting of chilis? Correct me if I am wrong, isn't that what we are all here for? Do any of you buy the magazine to locate a distributor of some hot sauce (if you do, try an internet search engine for "hot sauce" or something similar)?
