Howdy there Chas, down east! How come you aint jumped into this lamb vs mutton bit, seeing as people of Greek heritage, are heavy into that animal? (to eat, of course) I recall visiting a Greek friend of ming while a wedding reception was in progress, and they had a whole lamb roasting in the backyard, on a spit, over a huge barbecue pit, and although they wanted me to stay and sample some of it, I had to decline, with thanks, for I had another appointment, and that little beastie would not be done for another hour or more..it smelled great, however, with all that gartlic, lemon juice and olive oil, and oregano!
