Yes, I was very surprised and pleased at the response I got just for asking.
Hey, don't be afraid to ask for a discount at your local grocers, they know its
good relations and just think about all the people I just told with that last
message. The grocers really DO want to keep you as a happy and returning
customer, so if giving you one great deal will keep you swarming back to thier
store, beleive me they will go out of thier way.

Also, if your store doesn't normally carry the chiles you want, TELL THEM!!
They won't have a clue unless you make it known. I was in a store that's
convenient on my drive home and told the produce monger there that I like this
store, but I am forced to go to storeX cause they have the chiles I like and so
I do most of my weekly shopping there. The chiles showed up in thier bins
within a couple of weeks!!
