Hello spicy friends, With all the talk lately about chipotles, I remembered the spread I made with cream cheese last night. Big bummer, it had been too long and it now has green fuz...Yikes! At any rate, I also have a tupperware tub with pureed chipotles in adobe that I put on grilled bacon-cheese burgers...that it a wonderful addition. Had my huband try them and he responded that it was too smokey of a flavor for him....yippee, now I know that they are all MINE!!!! On the Datil question....I have read that a number of you have been successful at growin them in locations other than Florida so I thought that I might give them a try as I am deciding what to grow this year. I have tried the Devil Drops hot sauce and like it but what do Datils taste like fresh? How would I use them, are they good fresh or better dried and ground, hot sauce only....???
