Actually it is. I love to bounce ideas off you folks, because I always get such great feedback.. I have received quite a few requests for colored bell pepper seeds. You know, the ones that come from Holland and are priced out of sight in the market but look so great in a stir fry. I've found a source for Yellow, Red, Chocolate, Lilac and Orange hybrid seeds. To the best of my knowledge there are no open pollinated yellows, chocolates, lilacs and orange bell peppers. While not as expensive as some hybrids, we're still talking big bucks here. Before spending a bunch of money I'd be interested to know if any of you are interested. I'm learning that not all of you are as heat addicted as is sometimes claimed. I think that being able to grow all five varieties, freeze them and use them through the winter would be appealing, but I've been around long enough to know that I'm not always correct. If you've read this far, and are growing peppers, check out the summary of the 1998 Pepper Conference at: http://www.fiery-foods.com/whatsnew/confrnc3.htm. Some interesting research is being done.
