I just want to say as a newbie here, I'm still figuring things out myself so I sure won't call the kettle black or throw stones from my terrarium. I enjoy the recipes but not one after another, I'd rather get a link to multiples. I'm sure you non-gardeners get sick of Miracle Grow threads too! Judy, your last post was excellent. I think recipes are of course as pertinent as growing chiles. So are hotlucks, books, resources, chile jokes and anecdotes and an occassional off topic ramble by a friendly chilehead. It's a chile lifestyle after all. My main observation is the importance of changing subject lines to indicate the essence of the topic like growing, recipe, hotluck, etc. to make it easier to delete if uninterested. I try to remember that and deleting the last post, but I know we're often in a hurry and get distracted. Also, those of you who want more about GROWING, are invited to join my new list, PEPPERS, which is more oriented to just that (especially this time of year) (plus growing sweet varieties of peppers not just chiles.) http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/PEPPERS We also have quite a lively pepper growing discussion going on at the Yahoo club, a message board http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/PEPPERS I like this cos you can post pix and use the chatroom too and go there when you want too. So that's my 2 cents. Peace, man! :) chill to the chileheads: grow em, eat em, wear em, love em!
