All this talk about chile oil reminded me of a quick snack I like to eat. Take popcorn and pop it in the hottest chile oil you can find. As was mentioned earlier, chile oil doesn't add a whole lot of flavor. You might want to toss the popped corn with some salt, chile powder, and/or garlic powder. BTW, the oil does not color the popcorn which makes this a fun way to surprise non-CH friends. ;)
