Here's another seed starting method. 1. Make a cup of tea, any cheap tea works just fine 2. Allow to steep for 4 min, throw out or drink your choice. 3. Make a second cup of tea, with same tea bag, allow to steep 4 min. 4. Add to a 1 qt or 1 L jug. and fill with water. 5. On a dish, lay out a piece of paper towel, big enough to fold over first layer. 6. Soak paper towel with tea, place seeds on first layer, fold over top layer, make sure everything is moist. 7. Cover with something to prevent drying out. 8. Place dish in refer overnight, (Won't hurt to leave for 24 hours) 9. Plants seeds next day. Reason 1: The tannic acid in tea helps break down the seed coat. 2. The cold helps break dormancy cycle. Cost less than 10 cents If you do TSP and or chlorine, do the tea afterward. I can find references for using tea going back 110 years. Byron
