[CH] checking cheap pH meters

During a non-posted chat, I had an idea for those that want to
use inexpensive meters.

Get some of those 2.0 ph test strips. 

Take some soil, add vinegar until the pH strip shows a 6.
Check meter in soil. I don't think you can get a 4 with most
vinegars.

Take some soil, add Bicard of soda, lime or something else
real alkaline, Add until the pH strip shows an 8. Test with meter.

Personal opinion If your soil pH is above 8 or below 6, spend
the year to ammend your soil before planting chile's..
