Trying to sound like I know what I'm talking about here, when I really
don't....

Screen would work if the chiles were only pollinated by flying buzzing
things.  However, I came acorss a statistic (yeah, I know about
statistics :-) that up to 40% or more of chiles are either self or wind
pollinated.  Screen would not work in that case.  The only remedy I have
ever seen employed is distance.  Not the answer you'd like to hear, I
know.  Sorry.
